That's exactly why we created the KnotAway™ DeepEase Neck & Shoulder Massager. It works into those tight spots to help your muscles finally let go.
Eight deep-kneading nodes rotate in both directions, copying the thumb pressure of Shiatsu, the Japanese massage style. Built-in heat warms your shoulders first, so the kneading works further into tight spots. Grip the handle straps to press it in and steer it where you want it. Pick from three speeds, then move it to your lower back or calves.

How does the DeepEase Neck & Shoulder Massager work?
It is a U-shaped cushion that drapes over your neck and shoulders, with eight nodes embedded inside. Those nodes rotate in both directions to knead the muscle the way Shiatsu thumb pressure does, working the tissue from different angles. A built-in heat function warms the muscle first so the kneading reaches deeper into tight spots. You grip the handle straps to press it in and steer it where you want.
Is it comfortable and easy to use?
Yes. You drape it over your shoulders, hold the handle straps, and let the nodes do the work while you sit back on the couch. Two speeds, low and high, let you choose a gentle knead or a firmer one. Many people find it comfortable during long evenings. Go easy at first and do not hold heavy pressure on one spot for too long.
How long should I use it for each time?
A short session in the evening is plenty for most people, and you can use it most nights if you like. Start with a few minutes on a lower setting to see how your body responds, then build up as it feels comfortable. Some owners use theirs almost every night after work, others just when the tightness builds. There is no schedule to keep, use it whenever it suits.
Where on my body can I use it?
It is shaped for the neck and shoulders, but you can reposition it to knead your lower back, your thighs while seated, or your calves after a long day on your feet. Because you steer it with the handle straps, you can direct the pressure onto whichever spot feels tight. It is corded electric, so use it within reach of a power point on the couch or a chair.
How soon will I feel a difference?
Most people feel the warmth and the kneading working from the very first session, and their shoulders sit lower afterwards. Everyone carries tension differently, so results vary from person to person. Using it regularly in the evening tends to help more than the odd one-off, because it becomes part of how you wind down. It is a comfort and wellbeing product, not a medical treatment.
Does it have a heat function?
Yes! It comes with a gentle warming feature that adds a soothing hot-compress feeling as it kneads. The warmth helps your muscles relax and makes the whole experience that much more comforting.
